Your tax-deductible contribution is an investment that will allow Mountain Brook to continue to be a leader in public education.

Your donation will be invested in the Foundation’s Endowment Fund, currently valued at over $9.1 million. Earnings from the Endowment make it possible to assist in filling the gap between government funding and the schools’ technological, professional development and library enhancement needs.

Ways To Give

This is the simplest form of giving. Most of the gifts to the Mountain Brook City Schools Foundation are made in the form of cash.

You may gift the real estate outright or retain the use of the property during your lifetime and make a planned gift.

Giving through a Charitable Remainder Unitrust enables you to receive income for the rest of your life. The remainder will benefit your community. At the death of the beneficiary or after a designated number of years, the remaining assets in the trust transfer to the Mountain Brook City Schools Foundation.

Through the use of an annuity contract, you transfer assets to the Mountain Brook City Schools Foundation and you will receive periodic fixed payments for the rest of your life. A Charitable Gift Annuity can reduce estate assets and may reduce estate taxes.
